JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY’S BARBARA STARFIELD AWARD

Medscheme’s Health Risk Management Division received  the Starfield Award from Johns Hopkins University in the United States in April 2014. The Starfield Award acknowledges the organisation that makes the best use of the university’s ACG® System which improves both accuracy and fairness in evaluating provider performance, identifying patients at high risk, forecasting healthcare utilisation and setting equitable payment rates.

Medscheme received the award in recognition of the project entitled “A comprehensive care management programme focused on emerging and high risk individuals.”
